Good morning. If you have been following this blog, you know that my passion for sports runs deep. For a while, you have heard only my thoughts. That, in itself, is a scary thought! After months if not years of casually tossing around the idea of starting up a podcast, a few associates of mine finally decided to do so.
Admittedly, the first episode did not go exactly as planned. A long talk about the New York Rangers was stymied after technical issues made the recording practically inaudible. However, I am very proud to offer this as our first episode. The list of names will grow, and you’ll become familiar with many of them over the course of the history of this podcast.
Ryan King and Donald Applegate are two of the most knowledgeable hockey fans I know. Don has played organized hockey for most of his life, and Ryan’s passionate love of the sport is a spectacle to witness in person. All three of us sat down on Monday night and did what we have so often done either in person or over text message: we shared our love of the sport, this time with a microphone. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I had of being part of it.
